ERIC
CLAPTON

Eric
Clapton is one of the world’s pre-eminent Blues/Rock guitarists.
His story spans five decades, from The Yardbirds in the mid
sixties, via John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, the seminal rock
supergroup Cream, Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends,
and Derek And The Dominos, all culminating from the early 70’s
in his career as a solo artist. The only triple inductee into
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, (as a member of both The Yardbirds
and Cream and as a solo artist,) he has earned 18 Grammy’s
and countless other awards. The driving force behind all of
Eric Clapton’s success has always been and will remain the
Music and in particular the Blues. This first love inspired
a boy from the small village of Ripley in Surrey, England to
pick up a guitar and attempt to emulate his heroes. In doing
so he himself became a hero to millions.
