Currently ranked #42 in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll 2009, Simon Patterson is an artist who has confirmed his elevation into the trance super-league with a series of white-hot productions and jaw dropping dj performances.

Simon's first solo offering was the well received ‘F-16’ but followed it up with the now legendary club smash ‘Bulldozer’ which brought him to the attention of every trance fan the world over. Simon has to-date racked up an unprecedented 11 consecutive #1’s on Beatport (also sweeping into the #1 position on most other download stores). Little wonder then that releases such as ‘Thump’ and ‘Somethin’s Up’ (collaboration with Sean Tyas) continue to tear up playlists around the world. His current offering, a double A side 'Miss You' and 'See You Soon' released on Spinnin' Records in February is the latest of his chart topping productions. With follow up releases ‘Taxi’, ‘Mood Swing’ and ‘Back Stab’, Simon continues to produce music of the very highest standard!

This feat of musical excellence is regularly reaffirmed by the legion of fans who adorn t shirts and banners with his name at festival and club dates the world over. Be it in Holland or Australia’s Trance Energy, Poland’s Sunrise Festival, Mexico's Eurofest or St Petersburg's Global Gathering, Simon continues to grace the decks at some of the world’s finest club and festival stages. Annually taking in up to 150,000 air miles his tour schedule reads like the departure board of a major international airport. Renowned for his memorable dj performances, Simon is a keen advocate that “musically it’s about creating experiences”, which is perhaps why he was invited by 3 x world number #1 DJ Armin van Buuren for his ASOT400 and ASOT 450 gigs showcase the very best talent in the scene. 2010 also sees Simon closing the main stage at the world renowned Trance Energy in front of 25,000 trance fans. Simon notched up his first Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 at the end of 2009, whilst this year has already seen him mix and compile a disc for Technoclub in Frankfurt's compilation as well as being one of the first in line to mix one of Gatecrashers forthcoming digital compilations.
